Kari Karst

Kari earned a BS in Civil Engineering from South Dakota School of Mines and Technology. Since her purchase of the company in 1992, Kari has provided strong leadership and direction for the company. Prior to 1992 she was employed with Ingersoll Rand Company in Los Angeles, CA and Charlotte, NC. While attending college, she worked on various road and bridge construction projects for Sweetman Construction Co.

Kari is an active industry advocate and spokesperson. She was president of the Associated General Contractors of South Dakota in 2004 and is currently Secretary/Treasurer of the organization. She has been an AGC board member since 1998.
